This Storm by Sonya Kitchell

Sonya Kitchell may only be 19, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to her latest album, “This Storm.” This is Kitchell’s second album, and the folk/pop sound is infectious. Her soulful voice sounds like it could belong to someone much older, and coupled with her guitar; this is great music for studying or for a chill moment. Although some may not like some of the political statements in her lyrics, like many singer/songwriters, she wrote an album that is very honest and personal.
